Çalışmayı düzenleyen doktora mail atmıştım. Yan etkisi olup olmadığı, çalışmanın kriterlerini ve durumunu sormuştum. Cevap geldi. Aşağıda cevabı paylaşıyorum.
Hello,
Thank you the interest in our AHCC study for HPV+ women. We are focusing on persistent (>3 years) High-risk HPV infections only. We are still in process of evaluating AHCC in humans to hopefully confirm our pilot data in our current phase II study. At this time, I am not sure if it will or will not work for all types or locations of HPV in humans or with HPV-related tumors/cancer. To date, we have only been evaluating high risk strains of HPV in women over the age of 30. The data from our pilot study will be published soon.
AHCC is readily available as a nutritional supplement so you could always try on your own now too. I always recommend checking with your healthcare provider if it is okay to take AHCC for you but it is a nutritional supplement with no side effects. While it may not help you, it unlikely would hurt either.
The AHCC dose I would suggest taking 3 grams once a day on an empty stomach (1 hour before meals or 2 hours after) for at least three months to six months to "test" if will help. Again, please consult with your primary doctor to make sure AHCC is okay for you to take with any other medications or health conditions. There are number of distributors, all the AHCC comes from same supplier in Japan. If you cannot find distributor in Europe contact the AHCC Research Association for guidance to potential distributors. Just be sure alone AHCC and taking equivalent to 3 grams (most 500 mg or 750 mg capsules). Please let me know how it goes for you.
